venues for christening
With several spacious venues to choose from, the event can be tailored for both small and large groups.
It is possible to bring a baby stroller into all our venues.
At DGI Huset Aarhus, we offer various table layouts that can be adjusted based on the number of guests and the selected room. Depending on the venue and your expected number of guests, we can arrange:
- Long tables
- E-shape
- Round tables
- U-shape

Table Setup
Tables are set with classic white tablecloths, LED lights, and white napkins, creating a simple look.
If you wish to personalize the tables further, you are very welcome to bring your own decorations, place cards, or similar items – just coordinate with your contact person in advance, so we can ensure everything is ready for your christening celebration.
Note: minimum of 50 people required for events.

Beverages
Beverages can be charged based on consumption or bought as an all-inclusive drink package.
All-inclusive drink packages are recommended for christenings and include: water, juice, soft drinks, house red and white wine, and beer.

Christening with activities
You have the opportunity to spice up your christening party with fun activities for the children in DGI Huset’s sport facilities during the celebration.
Rental of climbing wall
DKK 1,630.00/hour
(Includes equipment and instructor for up to 10 participants. Please note: for children aged 10 or above)
Rental of gymnastics hall
DKK 860.00/hour
(An instructor can be added at an additional fee)
Rental of hall for ball games:
Dkk 650.00 – 1050.00/hour
(e.g. for dodgeball, tag games, football, etc.)
Instructor (add-on): DKK 760.00/hour
Sunday Bonus:
If your celebration is held on a Sunday, you also have the option buy tickets for our popular Sjov Søndag (Fun Sunday) activities.
Event duration
Chrstening events typically run for a maximum of 5 hours.
